Let's hope I'm wrong. But I've seen enough Gary Mohammeds to make me think otherwise. Alll we can do is wait and see.

Somalinimo and language and culture is all gone, especially in Canada. The amount of Somalis in their late 20s who can't speak Somali is unusually high. You don't even need to be told the youths here who can't speak Somalis.

This is the last generation of anjeero being made in Canada. Watch.

Somalis are losing their culture faster than the other ethnicities have in the past. For Somalis it will only take two generations. I read somewhere that the Canadians on average lost their traditional culture within 4 generations. By the time our generation has kids, its all gone.

Somalis are losing it much much faster

Integration and assimilation is very strong here. You have to integrate here. Its just the culture here. Just the way things are.

Somalis here are 200,000, one of the biggest diasporas

However you barely see Canadians in Somalia. The Dutch and Norwegian Somalis outnumber Canadians by so much when you vacation back home.

Why is this? Because Somalis here have integrated to the point that they simply don't care about Somalia.

You're right. I think it has to do with the fact that everything is so open and wide here.

But I don't mind losing the culture. Somali culture consists of clan lineage and this leads
To hatred.

The next generation doesn't need that crap
