You probably believe America went to Iraq to deliver freedom or some shit along those lines. Good night.

You can not seriously make a coherent argument that there are net economic benefits in this for Turkey.
Your argument falls apart right there. You come here with zero logic it seems.

You are one of those Somalis who thinks the country is some empty village. This is a country the size of Texas with one of the world's longest coastlines and strategic geographic positions, and with a history of speculation in relation to its resources. You are clearly unaware of what the word contractor means, despite how clearly Iraq demonstrated the strength and lucrative opportunities in this sector.

The first mainstream aviation service to Somalia is a hugely lucrative title. Turkey is essentially placing itself as the main carrier of Somalia - a country that is on the rise in ways comparable to 1950s Saudi Arabia. You are either grossly unaware of what exactly has been developing recently, or you are talking for fun. Even a cleaning service will make money in these current circumstances. Even a hot dog kiosk will make millions in these circumstances. Again, I suggest you should do your research on the whole subject of services in relation to growing markets.
  Empty platitudes and hyperbole, you can fool this forum but you can't fool me.

A biweekly flight from Istanbul to Mogadishu, that likely won't be popular because it doesn't go through major hubs Somalis travel through equates to a takeover of Somalia's aviation industry :| Stop it while you are ahead. If the interest was anywhere near as comparable as your suggesting there are no barriers stopping other carriers from following a similar route. You mention Iraq, where in fact a huge influx of carriers resumed regular flights and have been competing for routes. Where is the equivalent interest in Somalia?

The poor Somalis should be thankful to great Mustafa Kemal Attaturk. Without him none of this would have been possible.

We should encourage the Turks to live in large numbers in Somalia.
I don't know if it is a confidence problem or if you are an idiot but come on man! WTF!

I was about to sleep with some half Turkish half Greek girl the other day. I didn't notice her Turkish roots until I saw a Ataturk book in her shelf. We engaged in a conversation about Ataturk and Turkey for about an hour with cookies and tea.

I then left.

By the time I left the apartment, I realized I was cockblocked by a book :(

Have you been on Daalo before? It shakes and moves during flight like its non-stop turbulence. It's like a rollercoaster but you think you are going to die. And there is no A/C. And they use the planes to export live animals too.

Turkish Airlines

Somali airline "companies"

Never been. But I've heard the same stories from everyone.

You also save money using Turkish airlines. No staying in Nairobi or the UAE or w/e. From here its Dulles Washington DC > Istanbul > Khartoum > Mogadishu.

fighter,

Dulles is friggin far from me... like almost an hour away from me in Virginia. I wish Reagan or Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) had international flights (Toronto doesn't count)
