Holy sh1t this is the end of times. How is a random app with like 6 employees worth 1 billion? :shock: :shock:
Same way a website, which users access for free, doesn't produce any products, and its only source of revenue is selling ad space (read facebook) is valued by investors as being worth more than the largest exporter in the United States

Capital markets are gonna implode
Facebook is valued for its data, not because of (potential) ad revenues.
