Beans the justice department is involved, and that is how you know it is serious. Federal, state, and local investigations have been going on, and this just shows that they feel they have enough evidence to bring charges against him despite the "stand you ground" law.

I demand the immediate release of George Zimmerman, the media simply magnified this story to appeal to African American emotional bias. Zimmerman needs to be freed as his actions were completely in line with the Stand your Ground clause.

Free George Zimmermen, he was defending himself from a hooded armed thief!

How does Zimmerman know? If an unidentified black male wearing a hoodie in a predominantly white neighbourhood reaches for something in his pocket one would immediately take action otherwise known as a pre-emptive strike to avoid harm. I think it's a case of Blacks vs the ever apologetic whites who have to be politically correct. Sometimes we have to be objective and not let our inner emotions overtake our rational.
