I have never seen a somali with a western name, other than a nickname.

I know a Somali guy called Roman this is the kinda name you only come across in the Bold & The Beautiful or some shit..SMH

But it's actually a very traditional Somali name: Rumaan, but with western spelling of our names, it turned into Roman by coincidence.

What about Baarliin and Aasiya? I thought they were derived from the German city of Berlin and the Oriental continent Asia.
