I have been using apple products for a couple of years now without any issues. And as for applications, there are many good ones lacking on other platforms. For example, I use AnkiMobile almost daily for my studies, which is a powerful tool, but it does not exist on other platforms.

There are equivalent apps on other platforms, as good or even better. It's about business; confining an app to a sole platform isn't business-wise. Besides, most Apple apps are developed by independent coders.

They aren't as good, or sometimes even very bad rip-offs of good iPhone apps. I'll stick with iPhones until the application market becomes more competitive between the main platforms.

It's really about the usability here.

I happen to have the HTC Sensation XE which came out last November. You might want to go for the new HTC X owhich has 4.0 Ginger software or the Iphone 4s. Heck, you might even want the New Samsung Galaxy. All these phones are of high performance but it all boils down to the one which gives you the most talk time, battery life and the usablity.

I dint like the look and feel of the Samsung Galaxy S2 nor the iphone of which i had a few years ago. The HTC is more suitable to my usability needs.
