I realize that the reasons on the ground may not be valid enough to fight for all situations, but that is their justification.

Now... give me a reason why you view suicide bombing as valid. What evidence do you have for that?

Somalis start killing each other a long time ago-- called it a civil war, tribal conflicts or injustice...but never went this far using a religion to justify killing innocent Human beings.
Al-shabab and its affiliates don't care about Somali people.
its clear that Al-shabab has a contract from foreigners as many other Somali warlords did for the last 20 years to destroy Somalia forever.

Al-shabab are the local boys. They are not responsible for the two decade unrest in Somalia, so stop fooling yourselves.
