My honorable friends , despite my daily most of the time unsollicited and rather violent contribution in a variety of topics , I have no real knowledge in this field.
Here is what I know though.
There is a difference between taking charity and accepting solidarity . It is up to every group of somalis to choose between becoming a beggar or being a trekker .

Your message is valid in the short run. There is acute poverty and it can be alleviated by aid (chock absobers) but in the long run you need strong institutions and endogenous mechanisms to fight poverty.
