This is one of the times I agree with the Somalilanders, when they say, "We don't share dialect, culture or history with the Southerners, thus we should breakaway".

This symbolizes the girl the girls family will make it i remember when my sister was getting married and cousin my Grandmother used to make it its full of muqmad and sweet things xalwad so there will be a xeedho party where the girls family and the family of the guy will be present There will be a committee asking questions to the guys who are invited who mostly belong to the same clan as the bridegroom or close related and they will try to open it if they correct the answers they were asked by the committee, the Committee consist mostly from the girls family uncles or subclan. When its open the guys family will take home the muqmad 8-)

The 5 Somali clans (Samaron, Isaaq, Dhulbahante, Warsangeli, Issa) from the former British-Somaliland Protectorate sort of share the same traditions, history and for the most part dialect. It's unique to them and them only. If Dhulbahante jumped on board with the Secession mentality, I'm pretty sure the former British-Somaliland Protectorate would become it's own country.
