Deron Williams top 5? Over Rose, Rondo, and West?! come on bro, he's good but he hasn't done nothing with any of the teams he's been on. I think out of the 5 you mention he's played the most games and has been to the All-star the least. Here's my list:

1. Derrick Rose: Undoubtely the ''Lebron'' of PGs

2. Chris Paul: Put him in Rose's shoes and do you really think he would have been able to accomplish as mush as Derrick has in Chicago? he is still one of the best

3.Rajan Rondo: Mr.Triple double

5. Russell Westbrook

4.Tony Parker

And a shout out to Steve Nash. Deron on my rankings would be no higher than 6th or 7th honestly.

A lot of people sleep on D-Will cuz Utah was small-market and New Jersey is a bottom-feeder so he ain't really on tv much. But the kid can ball, the Linsanity hype was sparked by Jeremy Lin's first starting gig against D-Will, and he responded by dropping a cool 40+ on the indhayar before fouling out in the 3rd. Plus he had that 57 point game where he lit the Bobcats up, the highest scoring total in the NBA all season. He's legit bro, once he has an all-star with him, he's gonna make serious noise and remind people just who the fuck he is

Deron was always underrated, but to say he's better then Rose just doesn't make sense. If we play the same scenario of putting them in each other shoes, and pitch a healthy Lopez and the Nets against the bulls in a 7 games series, I say Rose would win that matchup. These playoffs definitely showed the bulls are absolutely nothing without Rose. And if you put Deron on the bulls its the Jazz all over again pretty much.

With Rondo and Westbrook you could make a case for D-will but against Rose the MVP, that's overrating him big time. Rose has accomplished alot with little, you can't say the same with Deron.

Come on sxb, there's no comparison between his Utah team and Derrick Rose's Chicago team...they both have Boozer, but who was D-Will's 3rd best player in his Jazz days? Derrick Rose has Deng AND Noah...he has a lot more help in Chi-Town than D-Will had in Utah and even more so than the help he now has in NJ. Don't get me wrong, it's close, but I give the nod to D-Will by a hair since he's better at getting his teammates involved than Derrick Rose.

A Deng and a Noah couldn't do nothing against the sixers. The Jazz had Kirlinko, Millsap, and Ukur. There is no doubt with the same supporting cast in Utah Rose would have at least made it to a 2nd round appearance. Remember what he had when he took the bulls to a game 7 against the Celtics? and that was the year they won it all too.

Check Millsap's numbers those years tho, he wasn't as developed and wasn't a focal point of the offense so he didn't get much touches. Kirilenko and Okur are not in the same stratosphere as Deng (All-Star this year) and Noah (one of the best defensive centers in the league). Not to mention Omer Asik and Taj Gibson, starting-caliber players who are the second unit in Chicago's bench mob. Noah was injured during the Philly series too...if he played, they win that series.

That epic 7-game series (the best playoff series of all-time IMO) between Chicago and Boston was in 2009, not when they won the championship in 2008 bro. And the Celtics didn't have KG for pretty much that entire season since he injured his knee and watched that series in a suit.Rose still had Noah and Deng, plus Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas and John Salmons who all made huge contributions in that series and basically earned their current contracts cuz of how well they played in that series.
