Somalis rather act like Oromos aren't a threat and focus on the minority Tigre, who in some cases are really trying to help Somalis, because Tigre and Amhara hate the Oromos more than the Somalis.

OAF, don't be naive. Ethiopia's Military power cannot be challenged by any Somali since 1991. Meles Zenawi is familiar with the Somali people's struggles against former Ethiopia regime. Meles Zenawi is helping his own Tigrayans to prosper within the Federal Government of Ethiopia. Huge military bases and Air bases have been constructed in Tigre region of Northern Ethiopia to secure the long term interests of the Tigre/Tigrayans.

Meles knows a civil war can erupt in Ethiopia at any moment. Meles is the only Ethiopian Head of State in History who has created Federal States within Ethiopia to benefit his tribe and any other tribe that is or was an ally to his tribe, such as the Oromo, Somalis and Afars. It's up to these people to take advantage of it, before the West instigate a civil strife within the different Ethiopian ethnicities.

ONLF has an opportunity to take over the entire Somali Region of Ethiopia. I am 100% sure Meles Zenawi will most likely want to team up with the ONLF and other Somali Anti-Ethiopian elements, rather than renegade individuals like Cabdi Iley and his fellow puppets.
