Conquerer,

On serious note, I heard of a no so secret negotiation between TPLF and ONLF whereby a referendum will be held after 7 years of self governance by ONLF.
I think its a chance to grab! dont let it go 8-)
In the meantime TPLF is working hard to make that place ungovernable by helping the potical dreams of non ogadeni inhabitants of the place go wild.
even the tiny Geri-Jaarso is dreaming for a creation of big zone :!:

He is done, trust me.

As for the Oromos taking over Addis or anything, I say good luck. Somalis and Oromos know each other pretty much. Daily bases we meet in khat sessions, not battle fields.

Machine men with machine minds and machine hearts would cry like baby?! But I expect he will think too much and feel too little. He got the message, which is, it's time to leave the chair!

dire dawa is no longer somali my friend.
the site of dire dawa , its wells were first dug by gurgura, then they settled it around 1640.
The region was settled by Gurgura and ciise untill they were surrounded by oromo.
When it was conquered by the abbysinians , more oromos moved into the are and a city was born when the railway to djibouti was built.

somalis today are not more than 25% of the city..

Diredawa bieng somali is like Caynabo or Garadag being Dhulbahante. or Burco being Ogaden

or even better , Kismayo being a Bajuni city today.

Diridewa is center of Shiniile zone, and it does not have more Oromos than Hargiesa or Jigjiga. These cities plus Harar, house lot of them. But none of these cities falls under Oromo's admin. Mainly they are labors, and they peacefully live there. Just like Indians in UAE, Oromos live in those cities. Besides, they get along with Somalis and Aderes. Half of them speak Somali, and dress like Somali. They marry from Somalis and Aderes. Socio-economically we have ties. For instances, they are source supply of Khat, vegetables, fruits and man power. We give them all kinds of goods, electronics and live stock. The minor land disputes, and skirmishes between the two societies can be resolved. So take easy on our Somali Abos, and get used to them. Moreover, don't let the numbers scare you..

You don't really understand this area much. Issa and Gurgura don't settle the same land as one another or live amongst eachother. The Issa -Gurgure movement was just a political alliance forged in the 90`s to counter Oromo nationalism and the OLF in and around Dirre Dhawa. The Gurgura are different from the Issa in the sense that for centuries they lived and intermarried with Noolee Oromos, and they took the Oromo language and culture. And this is the case especially with the Khunduble sub-clan which is the largest sub clan of the gurgura, as well as the Nibiddoor. I have many Gurgura relatives and Oromos generally have a difficult time seeing them as legitimately somali. Personally I don't care, but just to show you what i mean I was talking to my little gurgura nephew once and I asked him "you're somali right?" he said "yeah". So I told him "our culture is shaggooyyee and dhiichisa (traditional hararge oromo dances), what about you guys?". He said "thats our culture too". So I told him "but thats not somali culture" and he replied "leave me alone!" lol. As for the political movement, many gurgura youth in and around dirre dhawa also joined the IFLO (Islamic Oromo group) and fought and kicked the IGLF (Issa-Gurgura movement) from places like Malka Jabdu in the early 90`s. Of course they also hated the OLF with a passion. Personally I don't regard Gurguras as any different from me.

Not to be a hater but ONLF wouldn't do that. There was this one guy saying that we would take over Ethiopia and rule it with the Oromos and Admiral M. Omar Isman said that ''this fight is not about taking over Ethiopia but to liberate our beloved country Ogadenia'' Your pretty much saying the same
