I'm curious to see how the "gays" bring upon society's decline, as most of you seem to be so fearful of. Y'all act as if same-sex marriage will subsequently legalize child pornography and human-trafficking. Gay people just want to be able to have a house, plant tomato gardens, and watch television while cuddling. Y'all are truly paranoid.
Why don't you ask that question to God, he annihilated a whole city of homosexuals solely for that reason. :!: :?:

by making sure we don't associate with gays or their way of thinking.
Thats of topic, but since you brought it up let me ask you a question:
Do you want it to be legal in Somalia to have a 50 year old man marry a 6 year old girl? Please just answer in yes or no.
i was readying myself to come to your defense but when i read your question---i was like what!!!

where did you hear that from? 50 year old man getting married to 6 year-old girl???!!! is that even possible? unless you know something none of us with working brain know, i have to agree with the above poster who hinted that you might not be a normal person. i really don't like making assumptions or judging people but your question scared the hell out of me!!!

the topic of your thread is good but you need to improve your level of understanding of complex issues first.

the first one is: don't buy into western propaganda. second: gays have no place in somali society. so that means straighten your way of living than we can discuss how we can find solutions to somalis vast and complex problems.

How do we change the situation for somalis in Europe and N.America? I mean, how can we go from being among the people with highest unemployment, least educated and other social problems to becoming the most employed, most educated and solve all the other problems?
It's unchangeable, because Somalia's lowest and most uneducated segment of the population applies for asylum and enters Western countries giving the Somali diaspora a bad rep. Other nations only 'export' the most educated and/or richest segment of their population due to VISA/Immigration restrictions, but this is not the case for Somalis.

Miskeen86 said that gay people should be put to death in another thread. My point was challenging his moral authority. He believes in a moral source which allow for the marriage of a 6 year old girl to a 50 year old man. My point is if someone believes that a 50 year old man can marry a 6 year old, then they don't have any credibility to condemn people to death for something that happens between two consenting adults.

I'm straight, love women and support gay rights

Would you encourage Somali femine men to become Gay and tell them to come out of the closet?

I dont believe there is a necessary correlation between femine men and being gay. But they should really think and do what they feel like is best for them.

That's a vaguely incomprehensible question. For instance, you've not clarified what you meant by "legal." From an Islamic perspective, we Muslims (at least the practicing ones), do not have "personal opinion" about the issue. Muslim scholars have already issued a fatwa/ruling regarding the matter, so our answer would be based on the fatwa/ruling. So, if you clarify your murky question, I can answer yes or no.
I'm asking if you want to allow something thats clearly in the Sahih Bukhari.

miskeen86 are you too ashamed to answer in yes or no :?
If not, answer the question!

Whenever I ask the question I asked miskeen86, there seems to be an awareness of fragility of religious morality, which is my intention to people that based their belief who should live or die on this religious authority. :!:
It seems that if miskeen86 does not answer my question,in yes or no, it would only be so because, he's too ashamed. Saying yes to that question would be quite immoral, and saying no would be blasphemy. miskeen86 shut the f-ck up if you can't stand for you're moral source, or I'll slap you with that question. ;)
lol

Ok, lets get back to the topic, the thread hasn't gone the way I wanted.
