I just want to clear up this simple misconception that "Sufi's" have their own sect as oppossed regular sunni muslims. If Wahhabi/Salafis want to distinguish Sufis as a sect then they themselves become causes of sectarianism.Do not talk about Suufism with Wahabis and/or Salafis unless of course you want your head bitten off.

Lol.Do not talk about Suufism with Wahabis and/or Salafis unless of course you want your head bitten off.
A sect in Islam is when you become distinguishable from one another in terms of Sharia, like how Sunni's and Shi'a don't have the same schools of Jurisprudence, and/or Theology Aqida. When you have these fundamental differences than you can be considered different sects. For example if you look at Zayadi Shi'as they have very similar Sharia with Sunni's especially Shafi'i's, but they have different Aqida or theology to Sunni's classifying them as a different Sect. You give something a name to distinguish it from the rest and then you say it's not a sect, how does that work?

Not true Suufiya(ahlu sunnah waljamaca) are followers ofIt is wrong to say that sufi's are a sect as they have no specific fiqh or madhab but either follow the madhabs of the four orthodox schools of Sunni's (Shafi, Malaki, Hanbali, Hanafi), nor do they have a particular aqida but follow one of the two Orthodox Sunni's (Ashari, Maturudi). Now

Where do Suufis lie?A sect in Islam is when you become distinguishable from one another in terms of Sharia, like how Sunni's and Shi'a don't have the same schools of Jurisprudence, and/or Theology Aqida. Sufi's is used to distinguish from people who have not taken a certain path of achieving an end result using a specific method. It is like using the terms of moderate, extreme, lax muslim, these terms don't denote differences of beliefs but how they adhere to these same beliefs. I hope that I made it clear for you.

Your just confused and making people confused. Sufi and Ahlul sunnah Wal'Jama are not interchangeable terms. Shaykh Abdul-Qadr Al Jaylani was himself a Hanbali Scholar. Shaaficiya madhab. and sheikh Al Ashcari raxmatu allah was Shaafici fqthi scholar.
Actually its wahaabiya which rejects all 4 madhabs . Wahaabis they fellow 2 men which ahlusunnah considers Heritecs one is ibthaymiyah and later mr abdwahab.
And today wahaabiis prefer to be hanbali madhab wich was mine madhab
before abdulwahab
You give something a name to distinguish it from the rest and then you say it's not a sect, how does that work?
