For our long term goals, it's for the best. Maybe you don't see this, but if we want to create a viable strong Somali state, we need stability otherwise we will have a mooryaan state, which the world did prefer, as did Ethiopia. But the world needs Somalia for something else now, hence the sudden involvement.

This foreign involvement only handling the shabab issue and not the deeper problems in Somali society, unless we solve this we will stand still. Thats why Kismaayu is a ticking bomb. Its gonna be interesting to see how TFG solves this dispute.

Ethiopia wants to see a certain kind of stability, not instability outright, they have their own interests. But for the international community it's long term, that's why foreign troops were always needed.

All this can be avoided with just negotiation, but unfortunately Absame is not being reasonable by demanding full keys to the city and antiSADE administration. We can easily avoid being used as pawns by hostile neighbors and use them for our own interest, however that needs one unanimous voice not divided house with different agendas.
