Are South Oromos even Muslim?

Postby shaab_ » Sun Jul 08, 2012 5:58 am

I recently met an Oromo guy from South Ethiopia and he told me his people are not Muslim nor Christian but believe in nature/traditional regions. Is this common for South Oromos? I was kind of surprised, always thought they were Muslim. Bareento or the other resident Oromos, explain. :|

Are the Borana ones in the South of Ethiopia even Muslim? The guy claimed most of them weren't , don't know how truthful this is though.
