Sheikh Shariif was an alshabaab, islamic court leader, revolutionary statesman, Thinker, and the President of Somalia (sharifistan). He is credited with being the founder of the Republic of Somalia.



Following the defeat of the Alshabab by tfg and ammisom he led the somali national movement into the new somali Independence. Having established a provisional government in mogadishu, he defeated the Powerfull Warlord. His political campaigns brought togather Somaliland and somalia.Sharif then embarked upon a program of political, economic, and cultural reforms, seeking to transform the former alshabaab ruled state into a modern, westernized and secular nation-state. The principles of sheikh sharif reforms, upon which modern somalia was established, are referred to as sharifistan.
