A mufti from Saudi Arabia was brought to tears on live TV when he received the following question from Somalia:

"Is the fast valid if we have no suhoor & iftaar".

:( :(

We complain about the lack of variety in afuur yet this muslim doesn't even have any food to break out fast with. Oh Allah help them!

Firstly, these are crocodiles tears. These people do not care, they are paid mercenaries. Just look at the left corner of the picture, the FSA flag, he supports the thugs in Syria which are backed by Zionist and America to bring hell and choas in Syria causing the deaths of thousands yet he pretends to cry for Somalia.

Also, how does someone have nothing to eat able to send a message on the computer and why would they ask this man? Is Somalia scholarless?

Sorry about my negativity

You do realize this is a Saudi State television channel and the FSA logo does not represent the Sheikh's views? Anyways if you watched you program you would realize how many Saudis donated to this caller and the sheikh cried profusely at the pain of his fellow muslim brother's pain.
They do not do injustice to others nor do they tolerate any injustice to themselves. In their love and concern for each other, all members of this Brotherhood are one body: when any part of the body suffers, the whole body feels the pain [Sahih Muslim]

Grandpa, your house-nigger mentality stopped being amusing quite a while ago.

This is when I dislike Somalis and their "face saving" moments. Admit nothing is wrong at all costs in order to keep "dignity".

Facts:

1. Somalia is the world's poorest society.
2. Somalia is the country to have gone through the world's last famine.
3. Even now I read reports that food insecurity is rising to the level of the last famine last year. ("Somalis Dying on Food" Walks ....http://world.time.com/2012/07/19/somali ... foodwalks/ )
4. That question is a very relavant question to Somalia's situation whether an actual starving Somali did or did not send it.

The Sheikh upon hearing such a question may have broke down as would many humane people around the world.

I find it very funny and hypocritical when some well fed Somalis in the diaspora like to sweep under the carpet the real situation of Somalia in order as to not look "bad" being from there. Get over yourself; this is a real question, from a real person, in a real situation.

Dr. Yalaxow, it could come from another sheik in Somalia who was asked this question and did not have the right answer. It doesn't mean the person asking is in that condition today.

Oxidant - It is out of context. Flags and instructional messages for targeted countries rotate on the screen in such a drive.

granpa, that comment from the somali person is very touching

Why are the Islamic Channels being politicised?
