Dr Yalaxoow maaxaad istafeeday, so what if they gave you citizenship after 7 years? to this minute your right to exist in Sweden is being debated, there are calls for your eviction by Swedes. You guys are being blamed for everything from rapes to benefit fraud.

You wouldn't be a Busdriver or taxidriver over in the Emirates for instance, that job is for pakistanis and Indians. The government would have trained you in an office job or something and would have paid you a huge salary.
i know that but i dont need to sing that sweden waxay i siiyeen dhalasho like those 2 somali men who sang and praise wadanka imaaraadka iyo madaxdiisa for only waxaa la siiyey citzenship...

Sahan.

As a black man in america i don't feel like a second class citizen like many blacks in arab countries feel. I can say that am just as American as the next person but the black man living in those countries would dare not utter such words.

The Black people in the Gulf are not second class at all! They are respected, they live in expensive villas, drive the latest cars, don't live in ghettos or have social problems plaguing their communities. The only problem is the other Arabs don't intermarry with them.

In America and the West generally speaking the Black people i.e. the descendants of slaves are in a pitiful condition! living in drug and crime riddled neighbourhoods, underachievement, underage pregnancies, broken families, being over represented in the prison system,...etc etc etc

can you believe they put idiots like him in charge of this place ? No wonder Snet is "imbecile headquarter".

yet there are 2 Somali MPs in the Swedish parliament, and Sweden takes in more somalis year by year than most other countries. Those calls are nonexistent in the public arena. You only hear those voices on far right fascist blogs and forums. These people are less in numbers than the somalis in swe

Dr Yalaxoow, they are equal to other Emaratis. They have the same rights to education, healthcare, employment, free housing, land, free healthcare in the west etc etc.

The only place on earth where Black people have dignity and treated equally is the Khaleej. I'm not sure about Saudi Arabia though, heard from Shaykh Al Kalbani that the black ppl are kind of disadvantaged there.
:?

Dignity, Fairness, Equality and Arab in the same sentence, that just doesn't sound right.

But still Arab's are our brothers.

Let us be clear here. We're talking about Emiratis, not all Arabs. Aan kala soocno, instead of wax isku qasinta that Somalis are so famous for.

Emirates is a rich country, and every one of its citizens have the same rights. The only ones who are suffering are the poor labourers from the expatriate communities.

How can the Khaleejis be fair when the poor Labourers are suffering? Most Arabs are Racist walaal no matter where they are!

Stupid somalis , the current sheik father was ready to give the somalis that were there back when it was a dusty place , Emirati citizenship . Somalis were like " abadan , we're somalis we're gonna die somali insha Allah "
Look at us now ...don't worry laakin my brothers and sisters it is a cycle people go through , our future looks promising insha Allah
My father is one of those Somalis man. He was in Abu Dhabi when the place was a desert shit hole and remembers when Dubai was nothing but a dusty pearl diving outpost. They used to laugh at the idea of buying citizenship those days like a lot of the guys who have it now did. A lot of Yemenis, Omanis, and Yemeni Somalis used to pay off the original local families to put their names under their tribe. These guys used to be desert nomads who could use the money so they often agreed. After getting their name under the tribe and having them bear witness as one of them they were able to get their citizenship papers.

There is also a rumour about Sheikh Zayed and Siyad Barre thats known among the old time Somalis here. Sheikh Zayed spent a significant amount of time in Somalia in the early 80s when he had a dispute with the other Emirates leaders. He became Barre's friend and they had close contact. The legend has it that Barre told Zayed not to naturalize any of the educated Somalis in the UAE as he wanted them all back in Somalia. Had an old man swearing to me the legitimacy of this story the other day

The guys in the video are set now, but they used to be treated like shit like any other expats. Its only very recently they decided to grant them the same benefits as other locals. Main reason being they wanted their women to learn a lesson for daring to marry out
