If you raise a cat in a horse stable it dont grow up to be a horse. It will remain a cat. Just like Mo Farah. You cant run from reality. Pun intended

The Arabs are claiming he is their hero as he is from a country that is a member of the arab league... International HERO
I bet they would pave entire streets if he visits one of their countries...

And Somalia is part of africa but it dont mean anything unless we are related by blood. Thats why we are cheering for mo. Not like the brits, arabs and other african who is claiming him on paper. I think you understand your argument dont hold water let alone sense.

no one should deny him being british citizen. but after all he is somali-british. that doesnt make him british or somali. he is migrated at age of 11. if he was born there could be said british-somali but he is somali first. anyways we shouldnt worry about technicality. he is somali muslim. that makes him one of us.

The point i was making is that others are more proud of his achievement then some Somalis... which is a disgusting shame.
Nomand the underlining truth is that we are failing to provide the peace necessary to allow thousands of Mo Faraxs to come to the international scene just like the ethiopians and kenyans and eriterians...
Peer deep into the temporal stagnation of Somalinimo... There will be more tahriib to escape the hell hole and to achieve similar success

Unless we recognize the needs of the youth in the HORN.

I think its quite normal that somalis identify themselves with Mujaahid Mo (may the subxaana watacaalaa fortify his legs) and claim him as one of them
albeit doing it in the bombastic somali way.
I myself when I saw him in all his glory shining like a medal ... I felt a sort of happiness in me ...though am very far from being somali.
