There is a famous guy named (Boon Xirsi).Boon is a town in awdal, never heard a person called boon tho.

What is the negativity associated with that name by northerners.Boon Hirsi was famous comedien. There is also Boon town near Borama.

They are the ones using the name but at the same time giving it a bad rep.


If that is the case as you would like us to believe then i must ask, why name your sons and settlements such a name?To my understanding the reason the Boon name is sometimes perceived as negativity could be because it is associated with a certain southern clan historically speaking. It also ryhmes with the beliefs of many poets decades back.
