Well hold up, Isaaq and Darood both claim to be reer bani haashim, so unless we test some real ahlul bayt, we actually don't know the lineage of quraiysh, as they were assimilated arabs. Arabs are also very different and many different groups come in.

AW you don't seriously believe that, do you? Irir, Darood, Isaaq, etc. have as much validity as Romans descending from a pair of werewolves or whatever they hell they believed.

PO, I call that the Emperior argument

Alot of Isaaq have T-haplogroup, weres Daroods have Haplogroup E-V13 and related ones. The two groups are not really related on paternal side that applies to all the different Somali groups. I will take mine sometime it will most likely come out as T-hablogroup or J1e.

They were raised on the milk of a she-wolf, could happen bro. Crazier shit have happen, remember the story about the lioness who kept a baby gazelle for like a week, or a leopard who saved a baby baboon after it's mother was killed by hyenas, and the baby only died from the cold.

Reality is, who really knows. who is to say Marexaan even have a common ancestor let alone all of Darood. But I trust our genology over Dir, Hawiye, and Rahanwayne. We all know they are just confederations.

@Siciid, T1a and E1b1b are almost exclusively linked in NE African/Med populations. I remember reading a study somewhere that both clades were introduced into the Somali population around the same time (7-8kya), and iirc most snet Isaaqs that tested save for Abdi.Ismail were E1b1b

@po, I feel like 23andme alone could end the Somali civil war

@NHG, the subconscious mind works in mysterious ways.

They are both found in different countries in Africa but doesn't mean it is the same the major difference is the T hablogroup originated in Middle east/Asia. It is not only Abdi.Ismail that got hablogroup T also some other guys who also happened to be Isaaq. It was posted in websites like 23andme.
