That is only for the people who have met the prophet(pbuh) and know how he looks like but you havent met the prophet so the devil can take any form and you still wouldnt know if is the prophet or not.proph said in several hadiths that thd shaitan can't take his form.

Brother do you know in almost every single muslim country in the world there are people who claim to be from Ahlul Bayt? From Nigeria to Pakistan there are muslim tribes who would swear by Allah that their Ahlul Bayt. The reason for this is right after the death of the prophet(pbuh) people thought the more closer you are to the prophet the more legitimacy you had to rule. You can go to china and you will find Chinese tribes who would claim Ahlul Bayt, this is not unique to Somalis only...
Anyways you dont need to be from Ahlul Bayt to be a good muslim.

No am not telling you to throw out of the window. I'm just saying we can only hope but we are not certain. When the prophet(pbuh) made that statement he was talking to his companions. This is what the scholars say. Just remember my brother some of the greatest muslims were not even Arabs. But if this connection with Ahlul Bayt helps you be a better Muslim than i say mashAllahalchemist, are you insisting that was the shaitan who came in my dream and where does the prophet distinguish between those who seen him and those who didn't . As a child growing up i only thought of the prophet as a prophet, a day came where i was reading a story book about the prophet, i was 8 or 9 i remember weeping so hard just because of reading this 15 page book. I have this emotional connection with the prophet and this led me to becoming deeply spiritual and eventually a sufi. I don't think this love i have for the prophet is coincidental , i know its because im a descendant . From father passed down to son i can count to Imam Ali A.S by heart, you telling me all this is bullshit and i shall throw it out of the window

Alchemist, a lot of scholars would disagree with you about the condition of seeing the prophet scw only being limited to people who have seen him. These scholars are among the eminent of our Ummah such as Imam Nawawi. That is only for the people who have met the prophet(pbuh) and know how he looks like but you havent met the prophet so the devil can take any form and you still wouldnt know if is the prophet or not.proph said in several hadiths that thd shaitan can't take his form.

I think you misunderstood me bro. I'm not saying that seeing the prophet(pbuh) is only limited to his companions, what i am saying is the part of shaitan not being able to take his form is only limited to those who saw him in his lifetime. As for the entire muslim Ummah being able to see him in a dream i accept that but since the person doesnt actually know how the prophet looks like he cant claim for certain that is the prophet that he saw but can only hope.Alchemist, a lot of scholars would disagree with you about the condition of seeing the prophet scw only being limited to people who have seen him. I see, it is a clever argument, but not sure how that really works up. In what you are saying, is this. If none of us have seen him in real life then we do not know how he looks like. So, if we see him a dream, we do not know for sure that we have seen him.I think you misunderstood me bro. Asim Bin Kulayb once said; " I related to Ibn Abbas, Allah bless his soul and that of his father, that I saw Allah's Prophet Muhammad (uwbp) in a dream. Ibn Abbas replied; " Describe him to me. " Asim Bin Kulayb added; " I described him as resembling Al-Hassan son of Ali, upon both of them be peace. " Ibn Abbas replied; " Indeed you have seen him. "
In Imam Nawawi's opinion is to put the reality of the dream on the perception of the dreamer despite the form of the Rasul scw. So your argument wouldn't hold much weight with him.If one sees Allah's Prophet, upon whom be peace, coming toward him in a dream, it means blessings and benefits, and if one sees Allah's Prophet Muhammad (uwbp) turning away from him in a dream, it means the opposite. Al-Qadi Iyad, Allah bless his soul, interpreted the words of Allah's Prophet Muhammad (uwbp) in his saying; " Has truly seen me, " to mean; " has truly seen my physical form, " that the blessed companions knew, while seeing him in another form in a dream means that one's dream connotes personal interpretations. Following the explanation of Al-Qadi Iyad, Imam Al Nawawi commented by saying; " This is a weak explanation. A stronger interpretation is to say that one who sees Allah's Prophet Muhammad (uwbp) in a dream has seen him in reality however his resemblance may appear. Whether the resemblance in the dream is known or not. "
