My argument is thus, we have never seen the prophet scw, but we have read authentic descriptions. We know it is possible to see him in a dream scw. We know that he would not encourage us into sin. So, by this standard, we can be sure that if certain conditions are met that it was him scw.

Brother Ina Subeer, the prophet can visit any muslim, whether he is ahlul bayt, and he can even not visit a person who is ahlul bayt. As for what your dreams means, I would not demean the dream by attempting to interpret it. Real interpreters from my experience shy away from it, and usually just say it is a good sign, and only if there is a real need do they trying to interpret it. So my suggestion is to go to one you can trust and is known by those who you trust to do it.

Waryaa Inaa Subeer, as for the "nationality" of the Mahdi, that is unknown and can not be known. Nationality is just a fake construct. You are a habar Awal with of British Nationality, while your brother could be only a Nationality of Somaliland. So Allahu Calam, where the Mahdi will be from. We know he is a descendent of the Rasul scw, his fathers name will be Abdalla, and his mother Amina, and he will be revealed in hajj. As far as I am concerned he is Quraiysh, and so he could be born in any number of countries.

I realize the implications of feeble currencies. As it stands, there isn't much I can do about it. I've been going on about gold and silver for about 4, 5 years now. Gold has risen $20/ounce, today. Had I had a savings, I would invest it in tangible metals. Most likely gold and silver coins. This way, when you usher in the Khalifah and restore baytul-maal, I'll be ready with my zakaat.
