We said that you can get away with any program at elite institutions because of their prestige and due to its amazing networking. We didn't say you take "worthless" degrees at regular institutions.

people like you all. you're the kind that encouraged many americans to study whatever they want and later on couldn't find jobs because their majors were irrelevant and useless. you all. people with your mentality contributed to the united states poor economy the past five years because you all can't pay back your college loans because you all have shitty jobs because you all studied shitty majors (regardless of school's prestige).

bro there is certainly some truth to what you're saying to people majoring in a field with no jobs and having loads of debt. However, there are people in those fields that networked and were able to obtain jobs and good positions too.

IMO, the only stable profession right now is the medical field. Getting a law degree isn't even automatic anymore. When I was graduating in December, I had to compete with people who have JDs trying to get jobs that people with only their BAs are getting. And I live in the Washington DC area where there are TONS of people with JD degrees.

What you majored in, where you live in and the times you are living in should all go into account into what you make of your undergraduate experience.

I also live in the DC area man. i think every other cat here goes to college here ends up going to law school There was always this saying that "The world needs more lawyers" but i think since that quote was made many of those positions have been filled lol.
