I am very proud of these young officers who look much more disciplined, trained, and well equipped. With the right people and equipment Somalia can reclaim its status as one of the top military states in Africa.

Look at the trainers. i can almost guarantee you that caucasian men is a retired U.S. soldier working for some security company that has been contracted by the U.N. to train the Somali troops. AMISOM itself is trained by U.S. and UK special forces in Uganda before they train the Somalis themselves.

It would have made sense for the TFG soldiers to be directly trained by the U.S. and U.K special forces instead of recieving second rated instructors.

we had militias and marauding murderers without order and command, i say anything is better than such a shabby arrangement. We shall take anything, and anyone who will give it to us. I just hope we will use it to our advantage. There seems to be a lot of specialized force in Somalia that are responsible for different sectors, if each one serves a foreign entity rather than the nation then we have a problem. that is my greatest fear, not who trains who.
