When was the last time you went back?

When was the last time you were in a Somali-majority region? I am convinced that the majority of us here do not visit "often", which I understand as annually or biennually, but I would like to be proven wrong. However, I am aware that there are those who have visited recently (I can think of up to 5/6 users) meaning within the past 2~ years, but I feel this isn't representative of the majority here.


Maybe I'm wrong, as is usual. Might be just me.

P.S. "Never" equates to either being born there and having no recollection of the place, or born in the diaspora and having never visited.

Never. I've visited my mother's country tho which is also in Africa. I guess mothers come first.

Just returned from Somalia & Kenya. Next time I go back insha Allah will be March next year and this time I'll move there permanently.

I wanted to for so many years but something always got in the way, as of now the only thing in the way is Al shabaab because they occupy the City I want to visit. Hopefully they will be removed soon insha allah.
