I went to hargeisa, burco and berbera. How long were you there for? I hated it at first, everything made me ill

Maybe you should try visiting some other Somali parts before you make up your mind, especially some capital cities

From what I've seen it's the European Somalis who go back home the most frequent.. Maybe it's cheaper for them..

Last time I went back was 2008.. Planning to go next summer Inshaa'Allah..

I think it has more to do with the price of tickets. European Somalis are much more cultured than Somalis in North America. The diaspora in Europe cares much more about their country. You can see it mostly by just looking at who can speak Somali. Most Somalis (not including adults) in Europe can speak Somali while most Somalis (not including adults) in North America cant speak Somali. Somalis in America truly do not care. I've met late 20's year old from Virginia who couldn't speak a word of Somali and has no Somali culture. No interest with some Somalis in some regions of the world.

First ever in Somaliland 2000 then 2004, 2005 , 2012 and im still there i'll go every year if i could but i still think Djibouti is the place to be quartier 3 i misses you so much .

My father was a seaman and came here in the very early 60s as a teen but he married back home..
