First time i went to Somalia was in 1994 but i did go back in 1996, 1999, 2002, 2009, 2010, 2011. By far my worst and scariest time was 2009 when i had to flee the bastards Shabab and walk from Cadbi Aziz to Madina

For some people, it simply seeing their mom /dad/brothers/cousins- for god knows how many years. For some people, it is the freedom of your kids going out anytime they want and not having to keep an eye on them. For others, it is the idea of not being an ethnic minority. For some, it is the nomadic life and the animals. Others enjoy the idea of being wealthy and building houses and villas which you would never dream of in many parts of the world. Having said that, there are many bad things, mixed emotions, where you sometimes wish to be back in the west. Nobody said it is perfect. But it is your country, no matter what passport you have, how liberal you think you are or how many burgers uncle Sam feeds you.
