fah, bit off topic but I was watching the olympic basketball few weeks back and I wasn't too impressed with team USA. What's the opinion of the team in america when compared to the dream team?

the current team could put up a fight because of their 3 point shooting but would probably get destroyed on the interior because of lack of size and the Dream Team had Ewing, Malone, Robinson in their primes.

consensus is 2012 team would lose handily to the 1992 team

However, you also have to remember that all of these teams internationally now have NBA talent on them too. Brazil has Nene, Barbosa, Verajo, Splitter. Argentina's core has Scola, Ginobli, Nocioni, Delfino. Spain has the Gasol brothers, Ibaka, Calderon, Fernandez, Navarro. Russia has Kirlinko, Mozgov, and Shved. Even Nigeria has a couple guys who play in the NBA. The Dream Team didn't face the talent that is globally abound now, which is something to remember.

The rest of the world has caught up in terms of talent and thats due to the 1992 games in Barcelona where basketball started to become even more global and more people around the world started to watch the NBA.

But yeah that Dream Team just has too many guys who were in their primes and I didn't even talk about Michael Jordan or Charles Barkley.

AbuukarSubeer is not a flip flopper. He is just as rigid in his firqo as the other religious sectarians he abhors but a flip flopper he is not.

The other two however make a mockery of Islam every time they speak; the way they treat Islam is like a person splashing water on themselves every morning and where ever that water first hits on their body is where they speak from that day.

Yeah that's a good point about the opposition improving much more since 92, btw I was interested in the dream team since I watched a documentary on them - I don't think we'll ever see a team in any sport with such heavyweights in their ranks

Cumar,

the leading video game, NBA 2K13 will have the 1992 Dream Team roster and the 2012 USA roster. So you can play it and see who is truly the best

hutuking and grandpa may take things light hearted and all with a touch of banter, but they have a better understanding of aqeedah than the sufi bruddah abukarsubeir, aqeedah is important here

Ironman, I agree they are by far the worst and these are common expressions of their's:

- God is with the mujahideen against the kufr fufu's
- Our african brothers are doing a fine job against the niqab wearing terrorists
- guul to hafidullah hebel hebel from beesha barakeysan ee hebel hebel
