I want to congratulate President Xassan on his great and historical victory. One that was little expected but well recieved. Somalia for 21 years has been in the midst of anarchy, chaos, transition, stagnation, lack of governance, and corruption. My sincere hope is that President Xassan shall be the best President Somalia has ever had, because it will take a momentous effort to pull Somalia out of the deep hole that it is in. This can never be done with a continuance of partisanship, internal conflict, corruption, and lack of leadership and foresight. I am very happy with the results of today's elections and seriously believe that President Xassan Sheikh Maxamuud is a man who can full fill it's role.

lol Waryaa, you've alluded to it with "money talks", with they got the most mp's, etc. You basically played it safe with your posts. It didn't matter if other candidates didn't unite, it is clear that Xassan sheikh would of came out first or close second in the second round, and it would of been just the two of them in the third round, with the same results. Lakin, it was a beautiful thing to watch, with most people loosing all hope of sharif winning to ecstasy at the manchurian candidate.PO, things changed in the 72 hours just b4 the elections, around the time I told you this man gained a lot of ground. Without other candidates uniting, sheik sharif would be the president today. It was a historic day for Somalia. Free elections inside Somalia!
I don't recall saying saying sheik sharif will be back
Waryaa, why would Tarzan be removed from Mayorship? I thought the people loved him?

Is that a typo?Free elections inside Somalia!

I'll give it up to youi am now an expert in somali affairs! I introduced you to him days before the electionsI also told you that Galer was after the parliament speaker seat the day he landed Mogadishu. I knew Farmajo was struggling but didn't wanna be the 1st one to give that bad news to my dear sister qorexeey - i kept quiet about it.
The thing I am very interested in right now is not about the PM but the next Mogadishu mayor. Tarzan is gonna be history.
