The diraac was originally only worn by Waqooyi females, because of our close trading relationship with Yemen. Koonfur somali chicks used to wear half naked guntinoos.

diraacs first came to Mogadishu during the 1970s or so ...when somalis stared travling to India etc :up:



I havent seen a yemeni in my life with diraac ,,, they dont even make such good garments

@Qora, Yeminis are only reer badiye now don't forget they are the purest arabs and thus have the richest history. Yes Yeminis wear dirac and they brought it to us its a well known fact.
