Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and escaped an arranged marriage by immigrating to the Netherlands in 1992.

There is a whole gang that works tirelessly to vocalize and write fallacious stories that are completely baseless and filled with individuals with fake names and nonexistent last names. Most of these books are composed of stories of rape, domestic violence, arrange-marriages/child-marriages, neglect, and the typical descriptions that are meant to utterly victimize and dehumanize the Muslim woman, and demonize and vilify the Muslim man. The reason so many Non-Muslims are terrified of Muslims, hate Islam, and support Israel is mainly due to the books about Islam you find at Barnes & Noble. The majority of them do not have a personal experience with a Muslim, and at certain cases they have not personally even met a Muslim. Ayan Hirsi, and her ilk are taking advantage of this gap and changing the minds of a typically neutral non-Muslims into a hate-filled and paranoid Islamophobic. So far Muslims have either been ignoring these anti-Islam/Muslim rhetoric or over-reacting and blowing things out of proportion. We are in need of compete and powerful Muslim organizations that tackle, analysis, oppose, and provide the missing Muslim/Islamic narrative, and have the capacity to broadcast it globally. And I think more importantly, the support and the backing of Muslims.
