Its very sad that no one knows the year and the month that I was born. It gives me the right to claim whichever age that I want without falling into Danbi for lying. All I know is that, I came to Muqdisho in 1987 and I was a little over 12yrs. Can you help me to estimate how old I could be?

37 if u were 12/13 in 1987 24 years has passed since then 24+ roughly over 12 gives you 37ish

OK I know it is a little bit different in the Yemeni culture but the age of 12 is very important age for boys in baadiyo. Wiil labiyo toban jira haduu lali ahaan waaye, raganimo ludeed kumajirtee liidane ogaada. So boys just can't wait to be 12yrs old to be considered rag. That is how I know. Old the boys in my age hood used to brag about we were 12yrs old. Then we came to muqdisho which I know was in 1987 when I have asked my cousins. that is how I know.
