Postby BlackVelvet » Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:07 am

What would I be missing out on if I got the note instead of the laptop?

typing in the tablet is so annoying. i wouldnt replace laptop for tablet. if you want both for continence and easy to carry as media device. You wont like it as main source of you internet and typing documents.

Get a laptop. And iPad/galaxy tablet whatever is just gimmick to hook dumb people.

An ice cream...sandwich? How does that work, two slices of hovis with Carte D'or in-between?

Although its a neat device, its still just a tablet BV. Tablets are doing more and more by the day but its just not there yet to replace your laptop. Having said that I guess it depends on what you do with your laptop on daily basis. ICS or Ice Cream Sandwich is name google has given their android 4.0 version, nothing else really.

Hyper, one can actually get a keyboard for the tablet and type all kinda documents with it.

I tried but somehow I am not a big fan of laptops. A few years ago I traveled to the US my brother bought me a laptop for a grand as a gift and I rarely used it.

I enjoy the PC a lot & the only other tablet-like thing I use is an Amazon Kindle e-Reader for just reading books.

^ Funny enough, I know a family where I live that consists of 5 people and everyone of them has their own laptop. lol

Walaahi I've had that laptop as a brand new & I can count how many times I even started it. Just find them annoying. I like to sit on a proper chair, place my wrists on the edge of the desk/table & type flawlessly while a flat screen is on the table with a good distance.

Though I enjoy using & typing on the PC I also don't follow the ergonomically proper form of using a PC as I put my feet up on the desk & type/browse many times.

I have an asus transformer with keyboard duck with Anroid JELLY BEAN. Everything works great and it does what ever laptop does, but it's just sad they discontinued the flash player, so now I can't play flash files. Well , it's super slim and that's what I want the most. feels good hitting starbucks with that :steviej:

hyper...apple macbooks are pretty good, but expensive as hell and not as versatile software wise as windows notebooks. So if you're getting a notebook I wouldn't suggest a mac.

My tablet is very convenient for me at work and away from home, and like you with your laptop I take it to bed :D
