Somali Male: Rolling Stone

Postby waryaa » Sun Sep 30, 2012 4:18 am

Just this morning an old man, i mean real old like 78 was telling us he is marrying a 16 yr old girl here in Mogadishu. He has three other wives in two western countries and UAE. The one in the UAE is much younger than most of his kids. Another high-degree Ugas from USA who is also in his 70s just got married without telling his wife back home about it. Many folks who came to Mogadishu from ABdulahi Yusuf era married here and and have children whom their other siblings don't know about. These men use natural oils they believe help them in bed and don't touch certain fruits like papaya which they believe have negative effect. While our men are working hard to stay fit in this department, our women are seen as retirees after they hit 40s...

Let me share with u something that still shocks me......probably unrelated too

A so called young independent girl I know and used to chat with did something that caught me offguard, she made good money and was decent looking too so she had no problem with guys..that is I assumed, tell me why this girl went back to somalia, got hitched to an older dude with a wife and kids and recently came back pregnant. This shows us its no longer only guys going back, some of the ladies joining in the fun.

in 50 years time when I am in my 70s I bet I will attract a bunch of chicks from the west in their early to mid 20s who are looking for a traditional old school guy, chicks who are well educated and mature with a banging tide body, shii a female forumer here on Snet comes to mind.

my dad calls my mom every single day and says 'i love you' at the end of every call, he doesn't want a 2nd wife which means a 2nd family which means more money draining out of him

my awoowe married two, my ayeeyo being the first. when my gramps married his 2nd wife, my dad saw the favoritism awoowe showed the 2nd and told my mom "i don't want to do that to you" cause he saw his mom be pushed to the side so to speak after bearing a huge family for my grandfather

my father isn't like a lot of Somali men in their 40s and 50s
