Yeah one of the reasons why i picked the University of Minnesota for my Phd is because of the shaykh and because there is so much to benefit from him.

Unless you are a dirt poor refugee with no skills and in need of government assistance, you shouldn't go to Minnesota. It's like the coldest and most boring state.

if not how do you know about Bloomington and Darul-Faruq?

its one of the best location you could choose.
the biggest mosque, all major highways, the airport and mall of america just 7 minutes away. minneapolis is only 10 minutes away.
the mosque's Imam is a well known Egyptian Imam named Sh. Waleed (you could find his recitation online that is how famous he is) and the manager is a white convert who is married to a Somali lady.
Somalis live minneapolis and all Suburbans of minneapolis.

st looked up where the shaykh teaches found out its about a 30 min drive from my campus so i could easily do it if i bought a car.
