doesn't somali language have a word for "welcome"?

Is "come close to somalia" the closest we have for "welcome to somalia"?

How primitive Image

As for the construction boom....i think the somali gov should stop these skinnies from building anything. they building all look like modern mud brick structures. they should hire professional urban planners to set a new course for this city.

Good to see that Xamar is rebuilding!

Good for Xamar and Somalia.

BTW, I fail to understand our love for superficial issues (e.g. modern buildings) and greenery and water. The latter is because of the nature of our landscape (semi arid). While communities elsewhere cherish old buildings, our community loves dhadhalaal.

Just a thought

So if you haven't heard of it, then it clearly doesn't exist.

Don't ask me, ask them why they don't use it!

wait...doesn't "dhowow" mean "close"? :S

when someone says "soo dhowow" it means "come closer". but i do get that the meaning inferred is similar to "welcome".
