Some help required.

Postby abdikarim86 » Wed Oct 10, 2012 7:45 pm

I'm doing an Arabic course at university. They do it in 5 levels; 1 being basic and 5 advanced.
I've been put in level 3.

While my speaking is not bad and my comprehension is generally OK.
I'm having problems with basic grammer rules like possesives etc.

Any one know good books/ internet sites that give info
on grammatical terms and Arabic grammer specifically.

Its hard to learn the arabic grammar in its original text, its also confusing to learn it through another foreign language.
The best way is to learn it through the grammatical commentary works. The most simple one is. Al tuhfa al sanniyah for the best ajrumiya commentator al shaykh mohammed muhyadin. He gives you exercises as well. It has a somali audio commentary and english translation as well.

maandhow, i think qofka ajruumiga baranaayo laaziman waa inuu macalin wax ka barto, keligii inuu kitaabka kala furo iyo inuu fahmo waa adagyahay. c/kariin sxb as a language course check out madinah books/gateway to arabic they have different levels aswell. the more advanced of them have grammatical stuff in it so you can find it there.
