Postby Advo » Thu Oct 18, 2012 7:36 pm

I noticed something, when u get asked for a ride from islaamo to even young girls with somali dhaqan

They insist on sitting in the back even when the passenger seat is empty lol

Anyone else noticed this?

i dunno; maybe if they're seen riding shotgun with a person of the opposite sex, undesirable things will spread through the community?

That is old skool country. In the old country, women would walk in front of the men lest there be a lion lurking in the bushes

maybe they do it out of respect for you...its your car why jump on the front seat? very invasive don'tcha think?

back seat is best for a lady in such situation...even better behind the driver seat where u can't stare back from the rear-view mirror

Of course. Maybe back in the days but now somalis are more salafis than before. if they are not your clan or your sister in-laws they would choice the back side. BTW there was this girl who gives a daily left xaafad to a married guy from her clan who works at some office and I had this disapproval feelings in my heart.
