As for racists, I never believed they honestly hate others. I think they are just confused or looking to belong or trying to find answers to something horrible that went wrong. The Uncle Tom in the video had 13 white friends who ended up leaving the Klan because of re-thinking their "ideology". They never believed in it.
I have a white friend who I grew up with who ended up joining some really small basement white supremacist group. Became a skin head. Why? Some random Arab and Somali guys robbed him in broad daylight. We are not so close anymore because we live in different cities now but we still keep in touch and have the occasional lunch meet ups whenever me or him are in town once or twice a year. As for why I still keep in touch; I never took his racism serious. As to why he still talks to me; he clearly doesn't believe in his nonsense
Racism is forced. You force it upon yourself. It doesn't come naturally. And since it doesn't come naturally, you will fail
I guess Uncle Ruckus knew that too.
