nobody 'gumeysis' somali women, they do it themselves :ufdup:
they're the ones who keep this traditions like FGM etc..
infact just few days ago when the new foreign minister of Somalia was announced i was seeing many somali women saying 'naag xil ma qaban karto' :mindblown: on my facebook dash

while Somali women got a lot to complain i think Somali culture towards women is quite liberal compare to other countries. Our women r independent and actually they do have a major say in the Somali house-hold.

What is a society? Society is families that come together! what is more it is in my view that woman's main task is to run the house, sure they can run for government office but those will be always few! Will i vote for a female leader? if she is the best candidate then sure.
