The "Similar Topics" bit at the bottom

So sometimes i find myself reading an interesting thread or even a boring thread then i come across the similar topics when i scroll down and one thing leads to another and i can end up losing an hour or two just because of that. Whose idea was this "similar topics" thing and does it really serve to help anyone? With discretion please.

At first i was against these similar topics thing, because they distract you from the actual topic but now i love them.I prefer reading them, they're funnier and bring back memories.Some of them can realy put a smile on ur face, dadki hore aya xalad meydhan ahaa.Imika laakin sheekadi waxay isugu so biyo shubatay, ina naag dabadeeda wajiga la ingaga dhufta kolba inta sawir la so xado.
