*The last I knew Simad was institute so now it grew into uni, eh?

And this SIMAD institute/uni is the one said to have been co-founded by the current president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, innit?

Institute can be a university but somehow they feel bored with the institute and added university to their original name. Hassan Sheikh was one of the founders and long time president of the institution.
