Xamar belongs to whoever built it and lived in it peacefully, namely the descendants of the Omanis...the Reer Xamar and Jareer community.

What do you base this on? Hearsay?

Do you have any idea how long we have been living in Xamar? The Omanis only went down the East African coast in the 17th-18th Centuries under their sultan Saif https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saif_bin_Sultan

Ibn Battuta visited a flourishing Xamar in the 13th Century and Banadir has been called the land of the Hawiya centuries before that. kulaha Omani descendants.
