We should have just used a modified arabic script - our people were writing using arabic for centuries. and besides we all live in western countries where we use the latin script, at least now those of us who cannot speak/write arabic would have learned something new.

I think that is a good solution but requires a great rethink.
I agree. In fact, I think somalis of today are more clever than somalis of the past.

Insh'allah in the coming future. i will campaign for Puntland to adopt this script before it goes extinct

Osmaniya was never really widely written, otherwise it would've remained to this very day.
