This is actually good news, not because apple decided to bring back the google maps and google agreeing to it but because this means hope for apple products. Maybe this will put an end to their recent bullish stubborn ways of doing business.

Yeah they were not that bad, glitchy as shit but not so bad. I think the main issue was that not much of testing was done with them because apple has to conceal everything till their blockbuster release. They fixed many issue with the maps when the iOS 6.0.1 was released already, and I think they could have made the maps work in time but I guess the backlash from the puplic and the booming samsung fan base pushed them to just go back to google maps.
