Most ppl get married because they don't wanna die alone.

Some marry just to reproduce

Others for anytime intercourse

Some for a better quality of life. Two incomes are better than one

And others for all of the above
What about love

But some are in loveless marriages. Many immigrants are in arranged marriages. Some are married just for dependency.

Love fades away for 50% of couples though. Ends in divorce. You have to question if there was really love to begin with

Tuushi that is a fear I've heard people share. Get married and then meet your Mr.Right after...

Legit fear. Lakiin,one has to knw they are making the best possible decision at that moment and commit to it.There is no take backs and refund policies.

Then again,it would suck to live a miserable life coz of a bad decision.

I'm guessing most people especially in developing countries get married more because of other things than feelings. Feelings is there for most but not the most important reason

Look at last generation Somalis. Almost all married in their late teens, early 20s. Are we supposed to believe they all married at that same time because they all fell in love at that age bracket? Nonsense. They married mostly because of culture and that's just how things were. In this case love was maybe secondar or maybe not even in existence. I know most Somalis are in loving marriages but there were other more important factors

there will always be someone or something to one up what you got... "something better" shouldn't be the basis for looking for a suitable partner - it will lead to an endless search. have a checklist(be realistic) and when u find someone who meets your expectation. nab em'
