How stupid. First of all, I hate u for making me watch it. I think this is the ONLY time I ever watched a sport telecast. Second of all, Berkley is no different from the average adoon. The white man asked a smart, intellectual but simple question.. Why couldn't he muse and answer the same way? Lincoln is my favorite president, next to Obama kulaha. Every thing is all about race when it comes to adoons, don't matter what their income is.lol

It was a very awkward come back response from berkley. If a white man made that joke--there would be all hell to pay. Talk about political correctness, so when it is done to a white dude, political correctness should be abandoned ma ha? Idiot waxiid.

Had he been a smart adoon, he would have reflected and said--my favorite American president was Lyndon Johnson-- who enacted the civil right act of 1967. Yeah, Lincoln was great, he emancipated us negroes, but he did it not out of his heart, but out of necessity. He needed an army to fight the southern confederates. Oh, Lincoln, also said---Blacks although humans can never be equal to the white man--which is true--true, but what he said later is unforgivable. He said--I guess being pragmatic, he said-- and blacks can never integrate into society with the whites, therefore, I recommend a voluntary deportation to their mother land. That is after, they serve the war, and possible thousand of them die. :stylin:

I see where you're coming from that adoons bring race into everything but at the same time it was charles barkley. he was just bring playful. you can't tell me you didn't chuckle at all. maybe you have to understand the chemistry of the anchors more. What I don't like is that huffpo will mention this as being news. this is everyday banter in my opinion.

Ernie should feel bad because of white guilt. White guilt is a good thing, they should know they fucked up in the past and put blacks in a bad position

Lets say, the table was reversed. And Berkley asked the white dude who was his favorite president? And after a stupid five second pause, the white dude said---Well---President Jefferson of course. He was 'tapping' that negro slave Sally ---doggy style! :D

Don't u think--Shaq and Berkley will react like any Somali man seeing their Somali negro female with a negro male

Damn! thats the comparison you chose to make

Talking about sex in everyday life is inappropriate for starters plus it would be even more fucked up to be brought up in the context of slavery. However, bringing up the institution of slavery which existed for hundreds of years and making a light joke about it is not inappropriate.

Agentofchaos,

DUH! NO! but they should still feel bad. Had slavery/discrimination not existed in the USA in the past, who knows how successful the black race would be in the west. The consequences of slavery still exist to this day.

Again with the generalizing. Are you accountable for the actions of your forefathers?

Ernie must have been extremely uncomfortable, look at him turn to Shaq in desperation, but there was no escape.

Basra, why do you think its ok for the former oppresor(american white slaveowners) to make jokes about slavery in America ?? thats extremely insensitive and tasteless, its like a German making jokes about the Holocaust, its just wrong.
