Is it me or someone singing from Cadan? I think Twist has it right, this is not dabacadeeye, or I was grossly misled all my life. I thought dabacadeeye was pretty much a skunk. Anayways, according to Wikipedia this civet animal is native to thick forest of Africa and Asia and is not to be found in Somalia.

from that map they don't reach near mog, but are south of kismayu

The map isn´t accurate. As u see in the video they also live in Mogadishu area.

Xiinow I stand corrected.. Still though, the dabacadeeye I used to see back home looked more like a skunk than the civet pictured here.

Sxb the animal in my video is called dabacadeeye. Apparently its called civet in english. Skunk has another name in somali, but i don´t remember now. I try to find out soon.
